Tammy graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1997 with her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Medicine (Physiotherapy) and originally specialized in occupational rehabilitation, injury prevention. Her active lifestyle and personal background in competitive sport and fitness led her to join Sage Sport Institute in 2015 and is inspired to be working with active and motivated physiotherapy clients of all ages and abilities.
Tammy works to empower her clients to more confidently manage their injury and return them to their preinjury lifestyle. With advanced coursework in shoulder, knee, fool/ankle, thoracic spine/ribs and pelvis rehabilitation Tammy uses a combination of a hands-on and exercise-based approach to restoring normal mechanics and function.
Outside of her clinical physiotherapy practice Tammy loves working from the other end with injury risk reduction for youth and teen soccer teams. She can also be found volunteering as a judo coach, online in social media inspiring fitness and an active lifestyle, on the sidelines of her three boys’ soccer games and running around the hills of Kamloops.
